When life becomes difficult, we often feel stress, anxiety, depression or self-doubt. Psychotherapy offers a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings and perhaps learn to view your problems in a new way, moving towards calm self acceptance and confidence.
Imagine stepping into a space where your feelings are validated, and your experiences are truly understood. Psychotherapy provides that sanctuary, rather than being trapped by your struggles, you can learn to face them head-on with calm confidence and resilience.
In my 20+ years of experience I have learned that therapy can benefit us all for a multitude of difficulties.
This includes family issues or estrangement, personal and work relationship problems, separation and divorce or infidelity, stress and anxiety, depression and anger, bereavement and loss, adult or childhood emotional neglect, physical or sexual abuse or trauma, infertility and miscarriage, narcissistic/domestic abuse, ASD and ADHD, or addiction.
I offer both online and in-person appointments.
In person appointments take place in a quiet, comfortable and discrete private room in Edinburgh (EH12). There is free parking nearby and is serviced by regular LRT buses.
Online appointments are via video link using Zoom.
Meeting weekly on a regular time and day enables a sense safety and thoughtful dialogue. These are some of the the essential ingredients for insight and momentum for change.
Psychotherapy | Single session (50 mins)| £85
We can, if appropriate agree a set number of appointments, or enter into what is known as an open-ended arrangement, which means we work together for as long as needed. This might be weeks, months or years.
